Integrated Chemical Management
PES’s ICM program was developed to minimize the use of harmful chemicals for a safer and healthier environment. No chemical is put into use under this program without pre-approval at the corporate level, with priority always given to chemicals that achieve "green" certification. In order to reduce the company's total chemical "footprint," multi-purpose chemicals are also prioritized, and only a limited number of “core chemicals” are authorized for widespread use at all jobsites. Additional chemicals are restricted only to specialty tasks and specific applications.
